Hello and welcome to Green Planet Paving! We provide driveway paving and driveway resurfacing on Vancouver Island using rubberized paving. This is a proprietary method that we’ve been doing for since 2009 as an alternative to traditional blacktop paving methods.

What we do is unique in that our material is made of 100% recycled rubber tires that have been ground up into ‘rubber crumb’. We use this technique to pave driveways, sidewalks, walkways, playgrounds or any other hard surface that lasts for years and looks great. The best part is, it’s a strong product that won’t crack and it actually bends with your driveway, instead of cracking as it ages.

This method has been selected by cities to deal with the bending and flexing of sidewalks due to trees and weather. They’ve often chosen to use rubberized paving as an alternative to asphalt driveway paving and concrete resurfacing.

This method can be used on blacktop driveways, concrete driveways, patios, asphalt and as a sealer or repair method that’s cheaper than re-paving your driveway. The material is rubberised so it has a little give under the feet. It’s quite firm for driveway uses and has a lot of give for playground uses. It’s versatile in it’s use and is starting to gain a reputation as a durable and effective product.
